Chief Executive Officer (CEO) & Founder
DeLayne Jones is an accomplished entrepreneur, educator, and youth mentor with more than 14 years of experience as the owner and operator of a successful childcare learning facility. She has dedicated her career to empowering children and families through education, mentorship, and community service. In addition to her work in early childhood education, Ms. Jones has served as an elite community club basketball coach and a public high school basketball coach for more than nine years, mentoring young people both on and off the court. Her leadership, passion for youth development, and commitment to community empowerment serve as the foundation of Honeylocks Inc.’s mission.
Margaret Jones
Treasurer
Margaret Jones is a Registered Nurse with more than 40 years of professional nursing experience and a longstanding commitment to service and financial stewardship. She has faithfully served as Financial Clerk and Supervisor for her church for more than 45 years, overseeing financial records and ensuring responsible management of organizational resources. Her extensive healthcare background and proven financial oversight provide valuable guidance and accountability to Honeylocks Inc.
J’Layne Hulse
Secretary
J’Layne Hulse is a dedicated community advocate and Behavioral Technician who is passionate about serving youth and families. She has organized numerous community initiatives, including food drives and clothing giveaways, to address the needs of underserved populations. Ms. Hulse also serves as Secretary of Women of Gold at Texas Southern University, where she supports leadership development, community engagement, and service initiatives. Her commitment to advocacy and community outreach strengthens Honeylocks Inc.’s mission and impact.
Mary E. Hancock
Assistant Secretary
Mary E. Hancock is a respected community activist and seasoned social services professional with more than 50 years of experience in social work and community engagement. Throughout her distinguished career, she dedicated many years of service to the local health department, where she focused extensively on community involvement and public service initiatives. Ms. Hancock has remained actively engaged in volunteerism and community outreach, bringing invaluable knowledge, compassion, and leadership to Honeylocks Inc.’s Board of Directors.
